Capilano Suspension Bridge Park passionately supports the BC Professional Fire Fighters’ Burn Fund. Senior leadership team members make annual visits to the Burn Fund Lab, where advancements in burn and wound healing have created life-changing treatments and better patient care, especially for burn victims and diabetics. Our wildly popular Canyon Lights event was specifically conceived to raise funds in support of the Burn Fund. To date, Capilano has donated over $575,000 to the Burn Fund’s worthy programs since the relationship was formed in 2007.

Capilano Suspension Bridge Park’s corporate donations and support starts close to home. Capilano is a matching donor for the Lions Gate Hospital Foundation, as well as annual sponsors of their gala fundraising event, golf classic and their lawn bowling event. In addition, Capilano team members volunteer on Lions Gate Hospital event committees on behalf of the company.

Annually, Capilano Suspension Bridge Park is proud to be a gold sponsor of Family Services of the North Shore’s Winter Family Ball, as well as a silver sponsor of their Beer by the Pier event. In addition, Capilano offers complimentary passes to all of the charity’s volunteers to come and enjoy Canyon Lights.
